Role Challenges and Responsibilities
The Change Manager will oversee the end-to-end process of managing organizational changes, from request submission to closure. This role is focused on minimizing operational impacts, ensuring that implemented changes align with business standards, and addressing any associated risks. A key part of the role involves conflict detection among concurrent changes and determining optimal transition dates to ensure smooth production integration. Additionally, the Change Manager will drive continuous improvement in change management processes within operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control: Review change requests to ensure adherence to quality standards and notice deadlines.
- Lifecycle Tracking: Supervise change requests through each lifecycle phase, including post-implementation reviews.
- Change Review Management: Facilitate or participate in review boards to assess, validate, and schedule changes. Identify potential conflicts and decide on suitable production dates.
- Communication: Keep stakeholders informed of upcoming changes and associated risks; provide statistical insights on changes.
- Process Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to change management processes, proactively improve procedures, and support tool utilization.
- Strategy & Coaching: Develop a strategy adapted to new changes, oversee operational follow-up, and coach team members in adopting new tools and practices.
Essential Requirements
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
- Education: Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: proven experience in the collections sector, with hands-on experience in change management and coaching.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with AS400 and Miles tools (required), alongside substantial experience in collections and recovery management (including teammanagement).
