Position

Driving force for both operational and financial excellence

• You will be responsible for leading a small team and overseeing all financial activities.
• Reporting into the Head of Finance for Europe, you will be a key senior figure within the finance management team and will work closely with other departments across the Westfalia organisation to ensure financial compliance and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the business.
• You ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, forecasts and management information, while also supporting local business functions as a key member of the management team.
• Financial controlling: implementing relevant and robust controls and processes to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Management Accounting, including preparing and presenting the anual 5-year strategic plan.
• Stakeholder Management: support function to other local business functions, managing senior stakeholders across commercial, procurement, operations and people & culture.

Profile

• Degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Fully qualified finance professional. Relevant experience gained within the manufacturing industry.
• Confidence to self-manage the delivery of accurate and timely weekly/month/year end reporting.
• Sound knowledge of Belgium GAAP and IFRS.
• Advanced Excel skills to manage the large volumes of data.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
