Our client is looking for an experienced consultant to conduct a thorough gap analysis and develop a roadmap for the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive 2023/970), effective from May 10, 2023.
This role involves assessing the company's existing job architecture, pay practices, recruitment, and remuneration policies to identify gaps and provide actionable recommendations to ensure compliance with the directive.
The consultant will work closely with internal stakeholders, including HR, Compliance, and senior management, to ensure alignment with the directive's requirements and reinforce the client's commitment to fair and equitable pay practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gap Analysis:
Review the current job architecture, policies, and procedures to assess readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive. Identify pay discrepancies, risks, and areas of non-compliance, particularly related to pay audits and equality measures.
- Data Collection & Analysis:
Collaborate with HR and relevant teams to gather and analyze pay data by gender and role. Examine job descriptions, grading, pay scales, reward strategies, and performance evaluation processes to develop an action plan for eliminating any biases.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Conduct interviews and workshops with internal stakeholders to understand current practices and challenges. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant teams.
- Recommendations & Action Plan:
Develop a clear, actionable plan to address identified gaps, including updates to policies, systems, and practices (e.g., training sessions for managers on compensation discussions, establishing compensation feedback channels). Propose strategies to improve pay transparency and address any systemic inequalities.
- Reporting & Documentation:
Deliver a comprehensive report outlining the gap analysis findings and prioritized recommendations. Provide guidance on ongoing monitoring, reporting, and compliance measures post-implementation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven expertise in conducting gap analyses or audits, particularly in compensation and benefits, equal pay, HR, or organizational compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant employment legislation.
- Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with experience working across diverse teams.
- Familiarity with the financial services or insurance sector is an advantage.
- Full professional proficiency in Dutch or French and English
