Unit Manager IT Production ad interim

Context:

You will play a key role in ensuring the availability, performance, and security of our client's IT infrastructure. You will lead the IT Production team, managing professionals responsible for deploying and managing infrastructure solutions and processes. Your role will also include managing the IT infrastructure budget and working closely with the Architecture and Security teams to develop infrastructure strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Infrastructure Solutions: Design, implement, and manage robust, scalable, and future-oriented IT infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security in collaboration with security, architecture, and application teams.
• Availability and Continuity: Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of infrastructure and cloud platforms. Manage LAN/WAN networks and implement advanced backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Financial Management: Manage the full IT infrastructure budget, including personnel, resources, and software licenses. Prepare cost forecasts and focus on improving profitability.
• Contract Management: Managing contracts related to infrastructure, cloud platforms, and managed services. Ensure supplier performance and SLA compliance.
• Operations Management: Overseeing the daily management of physical and virtual IT infrastructures, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
• IT Infrastructure Roadmap: Developing, managing, and executing the IT infrastructure roadmap, leading strategic projects related to both on-site and cloud-based infrastructure solutions. Manage project budgets and work packages for application development.
• Deployment: Coordinating and executing deployment processes of infrastructure solutions and updates to ensure seamless and efficient feature deployments.
• OT Infrastructure Hosting: Managing infrastructure for hosting Operational Technology (OT) applications that support critical energy infrastructures and networks, ensuring integration between OT and IT systems for optimal availability and security.
• Collaboration and Innovation: Working closely with other departments and external partners to integrate IT and OT solutions and drive innovation. 

Your profile:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and are an experienced Project Manager in the energy, utility, or public sector.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management
• Proven experience in 3^rd parties management (follow-up SLA…)
• Proven experience in budget management (minimum 20M€)
• Proven experience in large infrastructure management (> 1000 servers)
• Proven experience in OT
• Strong people management skills (large teams)
• You have great communication skills and are focused on clients and end-users. You’re open-minded, creative, results-driven, stress-resistant, and enjoy working in a team.
• ITIL certification is required. If possible also PMI, PMBOK, Prince2 certification
• You are fluent in French and Dutch
